Staying in an Aurora Hut is an adventure. the chance to see the Northern Lights without urban light pollution is fantastic. You’ve got a private sauna to warm up after a long day outside—definitely a unique touch.
The toilet situation is tricky—it's a compost type and feels cramped, particularly when most places offer flush toilets. The breakfast left something to be desired. running out of Finnish rye bread was a bummer, and plain white toast just doesn’t cut it. the water from the faucet isn’t drinkable, which is odd given Finland's clean water reputation. Finally, the restaurant is nice but colder than intended, which takes the edge off dining in such a unique setting.
